MY DAD MY HERO

On sunday we surprised my dad with a dinner to honor him for Veterans Day. It was really fun and very emotional! My dad was so surprised and overwhelmed. It has been 40 years this year since my dad was drafted into the Vietnam War. My dad was drafted three months after my dad and mom were married. He served a year in the states and a year in Vietnam. My mom was still in high school so she was only able to stay with him for a month when he was stationed in Kentucky. They said they wrote every day even while in Vietnam. I thank our Heavenly Father for watching over my dad while he was there or we would not be a family. My dad is such a humble man and has such a strong testimony I hope one day I can be half the person he is! We love you dad!!!

Ward Halloween Carnival

We went to the Halloween carnival at the church house last night. Tug was Tia Lung the snow leopard from Kung fu Panda and Stone was a little bear. They had really fun activities for the kids to do but do you think my kids would do them. Nope! Still asking myself why we went. Tug thought everyone was really scary and I didn't dare let go of Stone or the tables and booths would have been distroyed. Finally when I decided to go Tug said he would color a paper that had a pumkin on it. They gave him a sucker and the carnival he said was awesome! Kids are so funny sometimes!!!

Grandma's 50

Holy Crap Grandma your old!!!! Just kidding we hope you had a wonderful birthday! Damma Chris ( that is what Tug called her when he couldn't say grandma and it stuck and now everyone calls her damma) turned 50 on Oct. 28 so we had her over for dinner the night before. We even made her blow out the candles on her cake. It was really fun. Happy Birthday Damma Chris!!!

Pumpkin walk

On friday the 24th we went to the pumpkin walk in North Logan with Lindsay and Kendrick. They had alot of fun. Tug's favorite was the Kung Fu Panda pumpkin display! He was really mad the didn't have Tia Lung the mean snow leopard as a pumpkin. I am sure I will hear about it for a couple of weeks since he loves that movie. While we were walking around I tried to get him to look at all the other displays but soon i would catch him wandering off in the direction of the Kung Fu Panda display. There was alot of school kids so Stone was very entertained watching all the kids run around. As soon as I let Stone out of the stroller it was off and running. I couldn't get him to sit still for a picture with Tug. Stone is my little wild man! It is fun to go see all the pumpkin displays and the kids love it.

Art from Estonia

Josh met Art while on his mission in Estonia and they will be friends forever. He has came to visit us twice and it is so nice to see him. Josh gets so excited when he comes. It is nice to see Josh act this way sometimes because it doesn't happen very often. At least he doesn't show much excited emotion very often. Art is here studying to be a orthopedic surgeon. He will be in Ohio for three more months then he is done. When he is finished he will practice in Finland. Josh keeps telling me we are going to Estonia soon, so we will see when this happens.

My Boys

We are so blessed. Tug (4) and Stone (1) are so fun. They are so different. I cant believe it. Tug has always been so mellow and does what we ask. He never put stuff in his mouth, never climbed on anything or got into the cupboards. Stone is a totally different story. He is into everything and enjoys every minute of it. It is wild at our house every day. Both of them are so fun and we get laughing hard everyday at the new adventures.
